My Little Prince

This poem was written after watching a film  in school   "The Little Prince" released in 1974.  The film was the adaptaion of the  1943 famous book of the same name by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.  He was a French writer, poet, journalist, and aviator.

Life is…

My Little Prince
A thirsty creature boxed as a human being
Who is always been wandering
From North to South
Moving from East to West
Trying to quench the thirst.

My Little Prince
Like any human being
Never stops from walking
Searching for knowledge and truth
Because life is a mystery
A long road journey

And when the voyage commences
Man needs a bountiful love
From the abyss of his heart
So that when he meets someone along no matter what
It makes no difference
The heart will see through  him.

And when the last tick of the time comes
And my Little Prince is already at the end of the line
He can now smile and rest with his Creator above
Because he knew to himself
That he lived his life to the fullest
Like the tiny man, my Little Prince.
